Google Glass is a brand of high-tech glasses created by Google. The device assists its user by
providing glanceable, voice-assisted support. They allow hands-on workers to improve their
work quality and make their jobs faster and safer. The lightweight glasses are comfortable enough
to be worn all day long and versatile enough to not get in the way of work. At the moment, Google Glass
is only available to "Glass Partners." Businesses that are interested may sign up to be partners
on the Google Glass website. You may click here to visit the Glass homepage. |

Google Glass is comprised of top-of-the line tech that allows for extreme precision and
excellent performance. One of the main features that Glass boasts is its Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 CPU. This component
provides the support for onboard computer vision. Other Google Glass features include a microphone for voice assistance,
a camera to stream or record the user's point of view, and even a multi-touch gesture touchpad. You may

Rather than using augmented reality to place information and visuals within the user's reality,
Google Glass takes advantage of mediated reality. Mediated reality is simply placing a picture atop another picture, or
in Glass' case, atop the user's perspective. For example, a doctor wearing Glass may say a command such as, "Show me this
patient's history," triggering the device to search the cloud for the specified information. Once found, Glass would then project
the information into the right lens of the glasses. You may click here
